Market Harborough Travel Clinic is a designated Yellow Fever vaccination centre, authorised by NaTHNaC (the National Travel Health Network and Centre) to administer Yellow Fever vaccinations and issue International Certificates of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP).

OUR SERVICES

Market Harborough Travel Clinic provides a range of private travel health services, including but not limited to pre-travel health consultations, travel vaccinations, malaria prevention advice and prescriptions, and other travel health medications and documentation.

All services are provided subject to a clinical assessment carried out by a qualified healthcare professional. We reserve the right to decline to provide any service where, in the clinical judgement of our healthcare professionals, it is not appropriate, safe, or suitable for the individual concerned.

Our services are private and are not funded by the NHS. All charges are payable by the patient unless otherwise agreed. Please refer to our current price list for details of charges, which are available on our website and at our clinic.

We aim to provide services to the highest clinical standards, in accordance with guidance from NaTHNaC, the World Health Organisation (WHO), and other relevant professional bodies. However, no vaccination or medication can guarantee complete protection against disease, and we cannot be held responsible for any illness contracted despite receiving appropriate travel health advice and treatment.

APPOINTMENTS AND BOOKINGS

Appointments can be requested through our online booking form, by telephone, or by visiting the clinic in person. Submitting a booking request does not guarantee an appointment — your appointment is confirmed only when you receive a written or verbal confirmation from us.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide when booking is accurate and complete. We cannot be held responsible for any consequences arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided at the time of booking.

We ask that you arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment, and a cancellation charge may apply.

We recommend booking your travel health appointment at least 6 to 8 weeks before your departure date to allow sufficient time for any vaccination courses to be completed. If you are travelling at shorter notice, please contact us as we will always do our best to accommodate you, though we cannot guarantee that all vaccinations can be completed in time.

Where an appointment requires a course of vaccinations, it is your responsibility to attend all scheduled appointments within the recommended timeframe. We cannot be responsible for incomplete protection resulting from missed doses.

CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING AND REFUNDS

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible by telephone or email.

Cancellations made with more than 48 hours notice will not incur a charge. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice, or failure to attend a booked appointment without notice (a DNA), may be subject to a cancellation fee of [insert amount] to cover the cost of the appointment time and any vaccines prepared for your visit.

Vaccines that have been ordered, prepared, or administered are non-refundable. Where a course of vaccinations has been started but cannot be completed, charges will apply for doses already administered.

Where an appointment is cancelled by us due to circumstances outside our control, including staff illness or vaccine supply issues, we will contact you as soon as possible to offer an alternative appointment. No cancellation charge will apply in these circumstances.

Refund requests are considered on a case by case basis. If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us directly and we will do our best to resolve the matter fairly.

PAYMENTS AND PRICING

All services provided by Market Harborough Travel Clinic are chargeable at the rates set out in our current price list. Prices are subject to change and the most up to date pricing is available on our website and at the clinic.

Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed in advance. We accept both online and in-store payments.

Our services are private and are not available on the NHS. We are unable to process NHS prescriptions or accept NHS charges for travel health services.

All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT where applicable. A detailed receipt will be provided upon request.

We reserve the right to decline to provide services where payment has not been received or where there is an outstanding balance on your account.

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITY AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

The advice and services provided by Market Harborough Travel Clinic are based on the information you provide to us and on current clinical guidance at the time of your appointment. It is your responsibility to provide full, accurate, and up to date information about your health, medical history, current medications, and travel plans. We cannot be held responsible for any consequences arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you.

Travel health recommendations are based on risk assessments and guidance current at the time of your consultation. The risk of disease and the recommended precautions can change rapidly. We recommend checking for updates to travel health advice prior to your departure through resources such as the NaTHNaC TravelHealthPro website (travelhealthpro.org.uk) and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) travel advice pages.

No vaccination or medication can provide complete protection against any disease. We cannot guarantee that you will not contract any illness during your travels, even if you have received all recommended vaccinations and followed all advice given.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
